I first met Mrs. Seymour in Grade one and shortly afterwards, I knew, that I wanted to be a teacher. 

Hello, I am Mrs. Collie, the educator behind the 8Teen44 Creations Brand. 

After observing my first grade teacher, Mrs Seymour for just I few weeks, I noticed that she was inspirational, resourceful and developed great relationships with her students. She made everyone feel important and she quickly became my inspiration. Teaching was my calling in life.

It has been nearly 30 years (29.5 years) since I started teaching mathematics and I still enjoy my calling. I have taught Middle School/Junior High, Senior High and Community College students. and have build great relationships with thousands of students. I have experienced and learnt so much in my 29+ years and I look forward to sharing my knowledge with others. I have spent 29 years in the classroom, not because I had to but because I wanted to. 

In addition to being a teacher, I also serve as a Team Leader for the National Mathematics BJC Examination.  I also create resources to assist other teachers. (Sample resource here). However,teaching continues to be my passion.

Perhaps you are a parent, looking for a tutor to assist your child with greater success in math  (especially math B.J.C). I can assist your child by offering Math B.J.C. Tutoring Online where I coach struggling math students in preparation for the Mathematics B.J.C. Examination. I offer Group coaching as well as individual coaching.
